Due to a Date conflict the Indiana State has been reset for Sept. 11th at Indy Sports Park.
Congratulations to the Bluebirds of Mason, Ohio for winning the Ohio State Championship going 6-1 on the day to win the title. Runners-up for Ohio State was 'The Legends' from Chillicothe. Both teams earned berths to the Worlds in September to be played on the 25th in Florence, Ky. The Legends finished 5-2 for the day.
Soulcrushers win the Mid-West Regional Aug 28th in Owensboro, Ky to earn their paid berth to the Worlds in Sept. Soulcrushers went 5-0 on the day to win the title. McDonalds All-Stars were second going 4-2 on the day.
The 6-man Worlds is Labor Day weekend in Paulding, Ohio. Email greg for entry details to the 6 man event.
The World Championship for both divisions has now been set for Sept. 25th. in the Greater Cincinnati area. If you do not win a State you can still enter the Worlds. Entry fee for Slow Pitch will be $85. Entry fee for Modified will be $85. Early entry to the NWHBF Worlds is now open thru Sept 10th. Early entry is $60 for adults and $50 for youth. Email greg@nwhbf.net for details on how to enter your team. The draw for the 2010 NWHBF Worlds will be Friday night Sept 24th at 830 p.m. at Wild Wood Inn in the Pool side area. All games will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 830 a.m. Saturday morning at Heritage Academy.

S.O.A.P. , Savage Blunder, Legendary Lumber, Hand Picked J's, Backyard Ballers, Hooter's Bombsquad, Angry Popes, Soulcrushers, Bluebirds, The Legends and Backyard Ballers have already qualified for Worlds for 2010.

We are also beginning to search for Hosts and sites for the 2011 season. If you are interested in hosting an event in your area in 2011 please email greg@nwhbf.net with some background information and he will email you a copy of the guidelines for events for 2011.
